The categories below outline websites that, at the time of writing, exemplified high quality in their respected areas of expertise. Otherwise, they were good. Enjoy.
Tech Sites
Tom's Hardware
An absolutely enormous hardware site alone, Toms Hardware has now extended into gaming, news, and networking among others. Tom's Hardware offers one of the largest tech forums that I've ever seen.
Hard OCP
Similiar to Tom's Hardware, but not as big, still offers some unique and interesting content on hardware and consumer electronics.
AnandTech
Offers frequently updated hardware reviews and the occasional editorial in Anand's blog.
The Inquirer and The Register
These two news websites may sometimes have incorrect predictions of future events, however, they are pretty accurate, interesting, and very British.
Overclockers
A good editorial that offers the occasional review and a close nit community.
TechARP
TechARP has the best BIOS guide online, and very good mobile video card and desktop video card databases.

Miscellaneous
Mr. Chris
One of the best chemistry related websites. The videos are a must.
Tiger Direct.com
Good computer related store, fast shipping.
Newegg
The best technology store on the Internet, or otherwise. Fast shipping and low prices. I'm not a paid rep, at least I don't think so :).
AlbinoBlackSheep
Good for flash movies, sometimes varies in quality, but funny.

Build your own fabrication machine for less than $2500.
